Welcome to FindHelpFor.me, a service operated by Jay Team LLC ("we," "us," "FindHelpFor.me"). By using our website and booking service, you agree to these Terms.
FindHelpFor.me is a marketplace that connects homeowners with independent, licensed local electricians. We are not an electrical contractor and do not perform electrical work ourselves. The electrician you are matched with is an independent business responsible for the work they perform.
Price ranges shown on this site are estimates for typical jobs, not binding quotes. Your assigned electrician confirms an exact, upfront price before any work begins.
Some visits require a deposit ($50 for standard service visits, $100 for estimate-only visits, $150 for emergency visits). Any deposit is credited toward your final job total. Deposits are refundable if you cancel at least 24 hours before your appointment, and are forfeited for no-shows.
You may cancel or reschedule online up to 24 hours before your appointment. Within 24 hours, please contact your electrician directly. Standard appointments are scheduled at least one business day out; emergency appointments may be same-day.
If you opt in, we send transactional text messages related to your appointment — booking confirmations, reminders, and scheduling updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time, or HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
You receive a clear, upfront price before work begins. If another licensed electrician provides a lower written price for the same scope of work, we will match it or advise you to take their offer. We may request details to verify a claim.
Electricians are independent contractors solely responsible for their work, licensing, and insurance. FindHelpFor.me is not liable for the acts, omissions, or work of any electrician. The service is provided "as is" without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid to us.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina.
